Linde Healthcare is committed to offering competitive compensation to our locum tenens physicians on behalf of the client. Before a physician agrees to an assignment, all fees for services provided are discussed and agreed upon by the consultant, client and physician. To avoid confusion, an agreement stating the agreed rates and terms is signed for each assignment.
Once the assignment is underway, each physician completes a timecard to accurately outline the amount of time worked for each week. The timecard is signed by the locum tenens physician and an authorized representative of the client. These cards are used to calculate your compensation.
When necessary, expenses (such as airfare, car rental and lodging) are handled by Linde Healthcare on behalf of the client. Our Travel Coordinator contacts each physician to discuss travel and lodging needs. The Travel Coordinator secures airfare, car rental and lodging directly to avoid as much upfront costs to the locum tenens physician as possible.
Linde Healthcare secures superior malpractice insurance at no cost to the physician through an A+ rated company. We provide at minimum $1 million per loss event and $3 million per physician policy aggregate with continuous coverage.
On occasion, Linde Healthcare will offer to reimburse and assist in obtaining state licenses and state controlled substance registrations. This provision only occurs when prior agreement is specified and agreed upon by the physician, client and consultant.
